Spaghetti Aglio e Olio



1 lb. spaghetti

8-10 cloves garlic, chopped

1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil

1 tsp. salt

1/4 tsp. ground black pepper

1/2 cup coarsely chopped fresh parsley, minced

1 cup grated parmesan cheese




  1. Boil a large pot of water and add salt when it has boiled. Add the pasta.
  2. Once finished cooking, add a bit of water while draining contents.
  3. Add the olive oil to a large pot and cook on medium. Add half of the garlic and sauté. Add the salt, pepper and parsley. Cook for a minute.
  4. Add the pasta and what is left of the garlic to the pot. Toss and cook for a couple more minutes.
  5. Add parmesan and salt to taste. Serve immediately.
