Lemon Butter Tilapia



  • 4 6-oz tilapia fillet
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper




  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Make sure fish are dry. Arrange them on a baking pan.
  3. Slice the lemon in half. Juice and zest one half of the lemon. Slice the other half into thin slices.
  4. In a saucepan, melt the butter. Remove it from heat. Mix in the lemon juice, lemon zest, parsley, and crushed garlic.
  5. Spread the lemon garlic mixture over the fillets. Season it with salt and pepper, then repeat this on the other side. Put the slices of lemon on top of the fish.
  6. Bake for 12-14 minutes.
