Buffalo Goat Cheese Bites



1/3 cup all-purpose flour

1 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs


1 large egg (beaten)

10 oz. goat cheese

Oil to fry

Green onion to garnish




  1. Portion out cheese into small balls
  2. Combine flour and a dash of pepper into a bowl. Combine the egg and 2 tablespoons of water in another bowl. Put the panko crumbs in a separate bowl.
  3. Cover each goat cheese ball in the flour mixture, then with the egg mixture. Then, layer each generously with the breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat 2 inches of oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Fry the goat cheese balls, several at a time, until golden brown. Remove and put to the side.
  5. To make the buffalo sauce, combine the melted butter, extra virgin olive oil, seasoned salt, hot sauce and a dash of pepper.
  6. Pour the hot sauce mixture over the cheese balls.
  7. Sprinkle with green onions and serve.
