Garlic Knot Chicken Parmesan Sliders

Ingredients

Garlic Knots:
  • 1 can or homemade pizza dough
  • ½ cup chopped garlic
  • 2 tbsp. chopped parsley
  • 4 tbsp. butter, softened
  • 2 tbsp. butter, melted
For Chicken Parmesan:
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup panko crumbs
  • ½ cup shredded parmesan
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 4 slices mozzarella
  • Marinara sauce

Directions

    Garlic Knots:
    1. Cut pizza dough into strips.
    2. Mix softened butter, 1/4 cup garlic, and chopped parsley.
    3. Spread mixture on each dough strip.
    4. Twist each dough piece into a knot.
    5. Mix 1/4 cup garlic with melted butter and brush each dough knot with it, on top and inside.
    6. Bake until golden brown.
    7. Cut each knot in half so there is a top and bottom.
    Chicken Parmesan:
    1. Make each breast flattened with tenderizer and cut them into 3-4 inch pieces.
    2. Mix panko crumbs and parmesan.
    3. In one bowl, put the flour and in another add the egg and whisk it.
    4. Cover each chicken with flour, egg then panko.
    5. Cook them in oil, turning once until fully cooked.
    6. Cover each with a slice of mozzarella. Cook for a couple additional minutes.

    Put each chicken piece inside a bread knot. Top with marinara sauce and serve.
